Employees

We view ourselves as a member of the community with the responsibility to invest in its future. We try to contribute to the local by not only creating jobs with good working environment but also initiating other projects not directly linked to our core business.

Wellbeing

We believe that our employees are at the heart of our business. Their wellbeing, both at work and outside work, is thus of critical importance to us. To treat all our employees with respect is the basic principle we follow. We also promote an open work environment, encouraging everyone to share ideas and voice concerns.

Achievements and Camaraderie

Everbright International has various celebrations and group trips to reward the hard work and great efforts of our employees. Annual trips allow our people to relax and have fun, while also help to strength the bonds between colleagues.

We also partake other community programs like fun runs to support local charity.

The key point is that we want our people to get properly rewarded and have some fun during the downtime. Thanks for their efforts at work.

Employee Engagement and Training

To tap into the full potential of our workforce, all our departments and business units host a range of training activities across all levels of seniority.

Diverse training courses are offered in different modes to provide our employees with the knowledge and resources necessary for advancing their careers. We offer classes focusing on skills important to employees’ daily work such as English language classes, but also professional development courses such as human resource and management lessons.

Besides lecture and seminar style lessons, we also have on-the-job training and mentoring program. For examples, employees who would like to improve computer skills can be paired with a super user or specialist who is ready to help.

We aim to ensure that all our colleagues get the opportunity to learn and progress and to succeed in their career at Everbright International.

Everbright International spares no effort to provide a safe and comfortable working environment. All our business units comply with local and international standards. We work closely with our employees to ensure that we adhere to the best practices, and we implement site-specific preventive measures. We understand that one can have the best practices written on paper but still achieve little in practice. Consequently, we organize regular training across all business units to make sure the workers act as expected.

Environment

We are environmentally conscious. From carbon emission to waste management, we try to minimize the negative environmental impact of our business and constantly explore ways to promote sustainability. For instance, recycled, organic and other eco-friendly fabrics now make noticeable contribution to our sales.

Additionally, the textile industry deals with diverse domestic and foreign laws and regulations which affect what factories can be used. We have established a process to make sure we are in full compliance. We also follow our buyers’ protocol. By sharing information with vendors through supply chain management, we take effective measures to improve working conditions, reduce carbon emission, and maximize energy savings.
